Our whole Pack meets once per month at our Charter organization, Cambrian Park United Methodist Church. Pack meetings are open to family and friends, and are a time to celebrate and reward the achievements our Scouts have accomplished during the month.
Scouts are organized into Dens of boys in the same grade. Dens meet with their leaders twice each month to have fun and work on Scout advancement.
Our big summer event is Pack 374 Family Camp, usually held at Camp Chesebrough in the Santa Cruz mountains. Open to families and siblings, we have a weekend of fun activities, great food, service activities, and an evening campfire.
January is host to one of our biggest and most fun activities: the Pinewood Derby! Scouts make wooden cars to race down a track. May the best car win!
In February we have a special Pack Meeting with dinner, desserts, and lots of fun.
Right after back-to-school, our Pack holds a picnic and Raingutter Regatta event at a local park. Scouts assemble and decorate boats that are raced down long tracks of water.
Scouts in the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council are making a positive impact in our communities through a variety of fun and challenging experiences. Activity opportunities are endless, and can be organized by any group from the Den up through the Council.
Our District and Council plan events that our Scouts may participate in as Dens or as individuals. Popular events include BB Gun and Archery Shootouts and summer scouting Day Camps.
For more information about activities organized at the Council level, see Cub Scout Year Round Activities.
